9th Annual Edmonton Children’s Art Contest’

When: June 16, 2024, 10:00 -18:00
Where: Ice rink in the West Edmonton Mall
Participant Eligibility: 4-18yrs of age
Topic: The topic will be revealed at the contest venue.

How: Anyone from 4-18 years of age is able to participate at the West Edmonton Mall, Ice rink
Event participants must fill out and sign the registration form at the event site.
Paper and pencil will be given out at the time of registration.
(We will only accept the artwork done on the paper that is given by us)
There will be a colouring table at the event tent.

1. At the entrance, scan the QR code with your phone and fill in registration form online.
2. Once registered online, you will receive a registration number.
3. At the registration table, give the registration number to one of our staff members for contest paper and instruction sheet. (Contest paper must have Stamp & registration number at the back for it to be valid)
4. Check the topic and read instruction sheet carefully.
5. Find a spot in one of our drawing tables and start drawing!
6. Hand it in at the registration table once the work is finished.(Before 6pm, June 16, 2024)

*This year, painting materials are not allowed (acrylic, watercolor are not allowed). Only colored pencils, markers, pencils, scissors, and glue are allowed, and these will also be provided at the painting table. However, you can bring your own art supplies.

Winners:
There will be 11 main winners and 16 special winners.
There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners from the overall contest.
Also, One winner will be chosen from each age group. (4 Age group winners )
Age group 1: Pre Kinder – Gr.1
Age group 2: Gr2 – Gr.4
Age group 3: Gr5 – Gr.7
Age group 4: Gr8 – Gr.12

Prizes:
There will be trophy for overall winners and certificate and prizes for all winners.
Ceremony and Exhibition of the winning art works: To be announced later.
